Day 106: Pau, France

I kinda liked the way the mountains looked this morning.

Today was a weird, weird day for me.  I woke up around 10h 30, and pretty much immediately started working.  My project for today was to get packed and give my room a heavy cleaning.  This took a good part of the day, mostly because I wasn't working too diligently.

At some point in the afternoon, the clouds left, and the sky looked really pretty for a few minutes.
By about 4 in the afternoon, I was pretty much done.  It is really, really weird to look around and not see any of my stuff.  I did get my room really clean, there was lots of dust under my bed and dress and stuff, but not anymore.  I was really proud of how efficiently I packed.  If only I were flying straight home and didn't need to open my bag 30 times in the next 3 weeks. ..

I spent the rest of my evening practicing, and it went really, really badly.  It took me like 45 minutes to even feel warmed up, and at no point did I sound decent.  My face felt a little stronger though, so I guess that's ok.  I ate my last dinner here with my family, and I brought them a bottle of wine.  I didn't like it, but Jean-Francois did, so that's what counts.

After dinner, I went Laura's room to hang out.  She had a group of people over for dinner, and they had mussels, escargot, hot poulet and pain.  It seemed like a pretty good dinner.  I spent my evening at Laura's.  We are all all really, really tired.  I think we're just worn out from a long semester...

Alex and Laura.

Matt is doing something.  Laura and Becca are watching.
It was a fun evening, and pretty good day.  Tomorrow is my very last day in Pau.  Hopefully it's good.
