Day 104: Pau, France

Today was a pretty relaxed day for me.  I didn't wake up until after noon, and I had a terrible hangover.  Oh well...I spent most of my afternoon just practicing, and staying inside.  It was rainy and very windy today.  There were points where I was legitimately concerned that roof tiles where going to start blowing off.  It was a pretty powerful storm, and it lasted for hours.  I was pretty pleased with how my practicing went today.  I am definitely starting to make progress.  I really hope it keeps up.  For dinner, we had some dish made with leeks, that was really good.  I had thought I didn't like leeks, but I had just never had them prepared well.  It was great.  After dinner, I played a little bit more, and I actually played some real music.  I still struggle, when not using my mirror to keep everything correct, but I was going crazy.  It was fun to play something that wasn't a scale.  It never really stopped being windy and rainy, so I didn't go out, which is alright.

The only downside, was it allowed me a lot of time to think about leaving.  I am really excited about my travels, but I am so sad to be leaving.  This has been such an incredible experience, and I'm so glad I was able to do this.
