Day 102: Pau, France

Wow.  So today, I am done with classes.  It is really weird, and really, really sad.  I'm completely bummed out about it, and am not looking forward to leaving.

Class in the morning was fine.  We went over the final exams from last week.  I got a B, which is ok.  After we finished that, we did some practice TCF stuff.  It seemed really, really hard.  I hope the test tomorrow is easier than those questions.

For lunch, I went to La Vague for the very last time. :( I was really sad about it.  It was good, and I ran into some friends, and we had a good lunch.

My last meal at La Vague.

Matt and Forrest.  Angela was also with us.

Bye bye, La Vague :(

After lunch, I had my very last class meeting ever.  It was pretty fun, but also very sad.  We had a little party, and watched a movie.  People brought cookies and chips and snacks, and out teacher brought two cakes, and we watched Coco Avant Chanel, which tells the story of Coco, before Chanel.  It was a pretty good movie, but also pretty sad.  Certainly didn't help the ambiance.

Melissa.
Breanna wouldn't let me take a picture.

Here is our teacher slicing cakes for us, and the rest of our snacks.

Here is all of the girls in our class(L toR): Shelby, Prof. Leviel, Melissa, Breanna, Lauren, and Skylar.
Skylar, Jun, Shelby, and Lauren.
After class, it took us a while to leave.  We all just kinda stood in the room for a while.  Everybody was pretty sad, and nobody really wanted to leave.  As sad as it was to leave, I am so glad it was such a great experience/class/group.  It was so much fun, and I think we were really lucky.

After class, I went home and had a good practice session.  I am definitely making progress.  I hope I can continue this as I travel and get ready for next semester.  I went to dinner, at Pizza Cap(for the last time?) :(
and ate there.  Then, I went down to the other end of the shopping center, to the Hoegaarden, which is a place we probably should have visited more.

French people will put blue lights on anything.  No idea why.
Laura and Becca were there, with a bunch of people from group 7.  They had just gotten together for some drinks before everybody leaves.  Some of them are leaving to go home tomorrow.  We just sat and talked and drank some beers and listened to terrible French karaoke.  Leaving and saying goodbye probably took about 20 minutes, as they were all about as happy about this ending as I am.

Now, I have to go to sleep, so I can take this TCF in the morning.  Bonne nuit.
