101 sounds about as weird to me as 100 did. I just can't really believe it has been so long since I arrived.
Today was pretty good. I only had an hour of class, in the morning, and we spent it learning the subjunctive, which is some verb conjugation that does something. I don't really get it. I just know that you take the third person plural and take of the -ent and then use the regular -er verb endings except for if it is first or second person plural and then you use the endings from the imparfait(some other conjugation). Who comes up with this stuff?
At 11:00, I met my "Langue & Acte" class for a rehearsal. We along with the other two theater classes gave a performance attended by many of the international students. We rehearsed(with two long breaks) until 3:30 when the performance started. It was really good we got that much extra rehearsal, because it took up until the very end to get everything decent.
Our teacher made us this really great apple cake for one of our breaks. It was tres good. |
The actual performance went pretty well. We were the very first group, so it was really nice to be done early. Some people were really nervous, but I was, weirdly, not very nervous at all.
Here's Timi and me waiting to perform. Timi is a lawyer from Nigeria. |
Erin and Aaron. And also Betty. |
This girl did a flamenco dance. |
Some funny skit. |
It is completely weird that tomorrow is the final day of school. I am pretty much done with everything. It is pretty hard to believe. Only 6 days left in Pau...
