Day 100: Pau, France

This is a really great song that helps to explain the number days I have spent in Europe.

It is pretty hard to believe I have been here for so long.  It is much harder to believe that in 8 days I will be on a train leaving Pau.

Today was pretty good.  I woke up very early, around 8h45, even though I was up pretty last last night.  I played trumpet for a while, after a really light day on Saturday, and no playing yesterday.  I sounded pretty bad, but my face did at least feel better.  The break was probably a good thing for me.  I hope things continue to improve.  I took a shower, and then I went to La Vague for lunch and I ran into Becca and Laura.  I ate with them, and then I had to go to class.  Class was ok.  I think everybody is pretty ready to be finished with school.  After, I just came home, and practiced a little bit, and worked in my room.  I threw a lot of stuff away, organized all of my stuff, and started packing.  It made me really sad to start on this.  Definitely not ready to leave.

  1. Hey!! I was looking back through some of your previous blog postings and saw that no one has claimed the 1€ Carmen Sandiego challenge to identify the mystery location, posted on Day 51... I say it's la gare de Bordeaux!

Given the precarious status of the Euro, however, I think I'll opt to accept my prize money in pounds Sterling, Thank you.
