Day 36: Pau, France

I woke up this morning for opera rehearsal at 7h 30.  My plan was to catch a bus at 8h 15, because the schedule on the internet told me that there was a bus at 8h 15.  There is, in fact, not a bust leaving at 8h 15 on Sunday morning, nor are there any buses leaving on Sunday morning.  Further more, there are no buses that ever leave at 8h 15 on any day of the week. As a result, I had to walk to the school, which is about 4 km.  It took my about 30 minutes, so I made it in plenty of time.

This old building has courts for basque pelota which is a bit like tennis.  I just thought the building was cool
Rehearsal was good.  We read through the third act and then went back to the beginning to start rehearsing.  I definitely did not play as well this morning.  Hopefully I will do better next time.  After, the bust were only running every 30 minutes, so I just walked back.

This is the same street from yesterday.  This is what it looks like on Sundays and after about 7pm.
After opera, I didn't do much.  I practiced and did some homework.  For dinner, I got pizza, and went to Laura's to do some homework.

  1. Quite a view! Have you become accustomed to seeing the mountains as part of the backdrop and landscape? It's really something, isn't it?!
