Day 33: Pau, France

Today was good.  I woke up and played trumpet first thing in the morning again.  I still love playing in the mornings, but today did not go so well.  Basically, everything hurt the second I put my mouthpiece on my lips.  I think it is just because I have been playing so much.  It did about an hour and a half, and it all sounded really bad.  After I played, I went to class without breakfast again. After not eating breakfast, I hurried to class.  Today was my Acting/Language class.  It is still pretty fun.  For lunch I went with Erin to get paninis at Isle de Sandwich.  They were pretty good.  Lucky for you, the one time I did anything remotely different, I forgot my camera.  I had an Orangina with it. My afternoon class was good, and then, I went home to practice. 

I played for about 3 hours in the evening, and it felt really awful the entire time.  I probably should have just stopped at some point, because I doubt I accomplished much at all.  I did determine that my Opera music is harder than I thought.  I also realized as I was finishing that I should have practiced more because I really only have one more day to prepare.

This is the music that is taking up all of my free time.  This better be fun.

I think I might be getting sick.  I was going to go out, but I decided not too, because I am tired and it is chilly and rainy out.  It is too bad, because our teacher didn't give us homework, because here, Thursday night is the big party night.  Oh well...
