Day 72: Pau, France

Today was Monday.  It is becoming increasingly difficult to hate any day, because I am becoming increasingly aware of how few I have left.  In a little over a month, I will be gone form here.  Sad face.  Anyway.  This morning, I just did some trumpet stuff for a while.  I am still basically only able to set my embouchure, free buzz, mouthpiece buzz.  I did play a G for a few counts tonight.  It is so frustrating! It is like being a beginner again! Hopefully, I'll make some progress soon. Class today was fine.  I got a can of fruit juice on a break.  It is much easier to obtain juice and water from a vending machine than it is any sort of soda.  Different culture I guess.  It's nice.

This mango seemed trustworthy, so I bought it.
After class, I continued my physical therapy regiment by playing soccer for an hour and a half.  It was fun, and I played pretty well.  And my knees are doing better!  After soccer, I got some pizza, because my family had already eaten.  It was good.

So good.  Toujours.
After pizza, I went home and did my homework and did a little mouthpiece work.  I think I made progress! Je pense....

  1. Eh?! On parle un peu de français!
Super! (That's French, by the way!)
(Je suis désolé de le dire, mais je crois que le verbe correct est "croire"... pas "penser". Demandes donc à ton professeur demain.)

  2. I have never had a French lesson but I think Toujours means Always? Am I right?
